FAQ

We hope this section can clear up any questions/concerns you may have about purchasing from Dr.M's Research Institute.

 

  1. "handshaped?" All boards are handshaped by Dr.M unless stated otherwise. In contrast to using shaping templates (the normal board making process), each board is shaped on a sander with no specific shape in mind during the process. This leads to each board being unique to one another, even if they look similar. the "data collectors" are boards where shaping templates were utilized.
  2. "mold?" All decks use the 3 Catfish BBQ templates unless stated otherwise. Collabs typically make use of the other company's mold.
  3. "customs?" we do NOT do customs.
  4. "when is the next drop?" boards are released as soon as they are finished. 12pm pst is the standard drop time, but random times are used in hopes of allowing more people to have access to drops
